Thank you for your interest in my cakes! I live in the St. John's region of Newfoundland & Labrador. I've always adored baking and became interested in cake decorating after having our first child. My love for it grew further when my mother in law gave me a complete set of decorating tools! I took four cake decorating courses and loved every class! All of my cakes and icings are made from scratch.

Glamor Girl Cake - This cake was for my daughter's "Glamor" party at Sharkeys Cuts for Kids. :) The cake board is covered with fondant. The shoe box is a rectangle double layer chocolate cake filled and covered with vanilla butter cream icing than covered with home made fondant. The purse is a double layer white cake, with each side being half of a 10 inch round, filled and covered with vanilla butter cream then home made fondant. The shoe, letters/numbers, handles and all make-up & accessories are handmade from gum paste/fondant. (October, 2010)

Star Wars Birthday - A three layer 8 inch round chocolate cake filled with vanilla butter cream then covered with butter cream and home made fondant. The two side towers are 4 inch square white cake. These are covered with vanilla butter cream than home made fondant icing. Mace Windu, Yoda and Obi Wan Kenobi are all hand made from fondant/gum paste. (September, 2010)

The Little Mermaid - This cake was made for my younger daughter's fourth birthday party! It is a 12 inch double layer square cake, half chocolate, half white, and filled with vanilla butter cream icing. The rocks are also white cake, and all cake is covered with vanilla butter cream icing. All figures (The mermaid - supposed to be Ariel, Flounder, Sebastian, Scuttle and King Triton) are hand made from fondant/gum paste and the letters are gum paste cut outs. (May, 2010)

Ottawa Senators - A 9x13 sheet cake, chocolate in flavor, for a hockey fan (or the son of a Senators fan at least!). The cake is covered with vanilla butter cream icing, then home made vanilla fondant. The Senators logo is hand cut/painted from fondant and gum paste. (April, 2010)

In the Night Garden Cake - This cake is an eight by nine rectangular marble cake on the base with a white number one cake on top. All of the icing is vanilla butter cream and the rocks are chocolate candies. Igglepiggle, Makka Pakka and Upsy Daisy (the three "In the Night Garden" characters) are hand made from fondant/gum paste. (March, 2010)

Lego Star Wars - An eight inch square double layer chocolate cake topped with a four inch double layer square white cake. Both cakes are filled and covered in vanilla butter cream icing then home made vanilla fondant. R2D2, Darth Vader and the Clone Trooper are hand made from fondant/gum paste. (January, 2010)

Mr. Potato Head - This is an eight inch square double layer cake with a carved white cake on top. Both parts are covered with vanilla butter cream icing than home made fondant, the hat and scarf are also home made fondant. The facial features, shoes, and arms on the Potato Head are made of gum paste. (November, 2009)

Kim Possible Cake - This was for my daughter's 6th birthday, she had a demanding order and was really happy with the results! :) The swimming pool portion of the cake is a 10 inch round chocolate cake, the tower portion is an 8 inch high stack of 6x6 square white cakes. All the icing is vanilla butter cream. The figures, Shego, Kim Possible, Ron Stoppable, Dr. Drakken and Rufus the naked mole rat are all hand made out of fondant and gum paste. It is difficult to see, but Ron has a rope tied around Dr. Drakken's ankles. (October, 2009)

Diego Cake - This is a single layer 10 inch white cake topped with a single layer 6 inch white cake. All the icing is vanilla butter cream. Diego, Baby Jaguar and the palm trees are hand made out of gum paste and fondant. (October, 2009)

Cinderella Carriage Cake - This cake is very similar to a previous cake I made! The base is a 9x13 white cake topped by a 3D round white cake and all of the icing is vanilla butter cream. The carriage wheels are made from gum paste/fondant. Cinderella, the mice Jaq and Gus, and the bird on the carriage are small toys. (September, 2009)

Lego Star Wars - This cake is an 8 inch double layer square chocolate cake topped by a 4 inch double layer square white cake. Both cakes are covered with vanilla butter cream icing then home made fondant. The figures (Han Solo, R2D2 and Darth Vader) are hand made out of fondant/gum paste. (September, 2009)

Lego Cake - A chocolate cake cut to look like one large and two small lego building blocks. Each block cake is covered with vanilla butter cream icing and then vanilla fondant. The lego man and letters on the cake board are made from fondant/gum paste. (June, 2009)

Mario Mushroom - A chocolate cake covered in vanilla butter cream and than vanilla fondant. Mario is hand made out of fondant/gum paste. (June, 2009)

Star Wars: Darth Vader vs. Luke Skywalker - A 9x13 half chocolate and half white butter sheet cake iced entirely with vanilla butter cream icing. (May, 2009)

Cinderella's Coach - This cake was for my daughter who requested a Cinderella party! The base cake is a 9x13 chocolate sheet cake and the coach is a round white butter cake. All of the icing is vanilla butter cream and the coach wheels are made from chocolate. Cinderella and her mouse friends (Jaq and Gus) are toys. (May, 2009)

Dora Princess - Dora's dress is all white butter cake and it rests on a 10 inch round chocolate single layer cake. All the icing is vanilla butter cream and Dora is a toy. The base is iced using the grass tip and the daisies are hand made out of gum paste. (April, 2009)

Madagascar - A tiered marble cake with an 8 inch double layer bottom and a 6 inch double layer top. It is iced with vanilla butter cream icing and the palm trees are fondant cut outs. The Madagascar movie characters Alex (Alakay) the Lion, Melman the Giraffe, Gloria the Hippopotamus, Marty the Zebra and Skipper, Kowalski & Rico the Penguins are all hand molded out of fondant/gum paste. Club Penguin Igloo - This Club Penguin cake is made out of chocolate cake and iced in vanilla butter cream icing. The 3 penguins and the Happy Birthday flag are hand made out of fondant. (April, 2009)

In the Night Garden - An In the Night Garden cake for a 1 year old boy. It is a 9x13 sheet cake that is 1/2 white butter and 1/2 chocolate with a white butter cake 1 on top. Igglepiggle, Makka Pakka and Upsy Daisy are hand made out of fondant. (April, 2009)

Higglytown Heroes - A Higglytown Heroes cake with Twinkle and Fran. It is an 8 inch single layer white butter cake iced in vanilla butter cream icing with edible sparkles on Twinkle's outfit. (March, 2009)
