Thank you for your interest in my cakes! I live in the St. John's region of Newfoundland & Labrador. I've always adored baking and became interested in cake decorating after having our first child. My love for it grew further when my mother in law gave me a complete set of decorating tools! I took four cake decorating courses and loved every class! All of my cakes and icings are made from scratch.

Merry Christmas! - An eight inch round double layer pound cake filled and covered with vanilla butter cream icing, then home made vanilla fondant. (December, 2009)

Strawberry New York Cheesecake - This is a New York style cheesecake decorated with fresh strawberries and a handmade fondant bow in Christmas colors! (December, 2008)

Hazelnut Heaven - This is a flour free Nutella (chocolate hazelnut spread) cake topped with chocolate ganache and toasted skinned hazelnuts. It is wrapped in Pirouline (wafer wrapped chocolate hazelnut sticks) then a Christmas ribbon and bow. (December, 2008)

Royal Icing Church - In lieu of a Ginger Bread House this year I made this church as a Christmas decoration! It is made entirely out of royal icing. (December, 2008).

Christmas Gifts - The bottom cake is an 8 inch chocolate cake filled and iced with vanilla butter cream. The cakes on the top and to the side of the larger cakes are 4 inch white butter cakes filled and iced in vanilla butter cream. The bows and gift tag are hand made from gum paste. The ribbons and borders are fondant. (December, 2008)

Holly & Berries - This is an 8 inch square double layer chocolate cake filled and iced with vanilla butter cream icing. The holly leaves and berries are hand made from gum paste. The ribbons and border are made from fondant. (December, 2008)

Snowmen by a Bridge - This is an 8 inch round chocolate cake with all butter cream icing. The snowmen are made from marshmallow fondant, the bridge is made from chocolate and the trees are candies. This was made for a work party where they design, construct and maintain bridges and highways. (December, 2008)
